P3O (Portfolio, Programme & Project Offices) is a standard to help organisations develop a model to assist in the tracking, assurance and support of the organisation’s portfolio of projects and programmes. Our Foundation training illustrates models, functions, roles and responsibilities for establishing and managing a P3O model. The training will explore and explain how a P3O can add value through the establishment of information flows designed to support senior management decision making. The aim of the course is to provide students a strong understanding of the elements that a P3O model is founded on and explore the justification, creation and management of a P3O model.

There is no formal prerequisite for Foundation training though some knowledge of project or programme management practices will be beneficial.

The Foundation exam is a closed book, 75 question multiple choice exam. The exam must be completed within 60 minutes and delegates must score 35 marks and above to attain the P3O® Foundation certification. Please note; 5 random questions within the 75 questions are trial questions and will score zero marks.
The exam is taken online following training completion.
