WHY CHANGE MANAGEMENT IS IMPORTANT?

Change management capability allows organization to effectively adapt to new or evolving strategic needs.

As business environments and organisational drivers change, strategy must adapt for an organization to remain relevant in today’s ever changing world. Strategic level changes inevitably lead to reviews and improvements to the way an organization operates, its required competencies and capability, its products and/or services.

Research shows “the majority of the best performing and most mature organisations always or frequently apply change management to their projects.” (PriceWaterhouseCoopers, 2004).

Our Change Management Foundation and Practitioner training is based on the Change Management Institute’s: Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBOK). The training syllabus covers 4 key modules:

  • The Work of the Change Manager

The Practitioner training aims to refine the training participant’s ability to apply key syllabus areas from the Change Management Foundation program, plus the following additional syllabus areas that will be covered in the Practitioner program:

  • Competence and learning for change
  • Coaching to support change
  • Handling conflict in change
  • Facilitation for co-design

The training syllabus is designed with a strong focus on practical approaches and models to support the application of change management.
